2025 Winter Concert

Updated: Jan 21

If you would like a video of the Winter Concert, please email Mr. Piotrkowski at robert.piotrkowski@classicalacademy.ca

Our Winter Concert is just around the corner, and we’re excited to welcome families into the school to celebrate our students’ hard work and beautiful music on December 17th. Thank you for your patience as we worked to make hosting the concert in-house a success this year!

Concert Schedule

  • K–3 Winter Concert: 2:30–3:00 pm

A joyful, short performance featuring some holiday music rooted in our shared Canadian and classical tradition.

  • Grades 4, 5, 7B, 8B, and 9B Concert: 4:00 pm

This concert will run just over an hour & is not a Christmas concert, but a December performance designed to be inclusive of all students—come with open hearts and enjoy the wonderful music!

  • Please note: Grade 6 will have their own Band Concert in the new year—more details coming soon!

What to Know

  • Attire: Formal uniforms

  • Tickets: Required

These concerts are a meaningful culmination of the students’ work from the first half of the year, and every voice truly matters. We hope all students can attend and participate. If your child is unable to attend, please let the music teacher know as early as possible, as this helps with planning, supervision, and bus arrangements.

During the Afternoon

  • Students will be supervised by staff at all times.

  • Space in the gym is limited, so students will not be watching other performances.

  • After performing, students will return to their classrooms until the concert ends.

  • At dismissal, students may independently find their parents.

  • Students staying after school may relax and socialize in the Forum under supervision and are welcome to bring games.

Volunteering Opportunity: We need several volunteers to help set-up, decorate & clean up after this event. If you are able to lend a hand and help us continue to offer important events like these, please sign up here.

A video recording will be shared with the school community for anyone unable to attend in person. We’re so proud of our students and grateful for your support. We can’t wait to celebrate together!
